Hair grows out of flowers
To bring a bolder scent
We breath to imagine
Children reminiscent
Each leaf waters the hair
With a fragile flow
We touch to feel
Alive beauty paw
Stem is proud and rigid
Holds pestle strongly
We fetch to give
Iridescence to holy
We swap and replace
Beauty and dance
Of scent and embellishment
Sunrise sunset romance

I woke up hungry
On Sunday arvo
And I had stars itching me
Around palms
Like violet petals
My hair zipped itself up
No, that was my cat pulling it constantly
Breath of meritorious air
Spunging summer
And cactuses
Yes, real cactuses
Have stung through galaxy of kneated childhood
And lace has forbiden melody and
All that is left is hunger on Sunday arvo.

Nightmare is an allay
I remember emotion
In my skin volley
Of scent locomotion
Movements of blindness
To scavenge hair
From dirt and sand
Pebble neigh sway
Nightmare is a mind
On stairs of memory
Of lonely feed
And dark matter felony
Verging on rocks
It sums up riddles
Spouts and raid
Of sunrise fiddles
Nightmare is a bliss
In dews of knowing
Rebirth and wits
Provoking awing
I remember emotion
